As a Cleared Security Officer – Armed Driver in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more.

As an Armed Patrol Officer in an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents. This is an armed post, requiring you to carry out your duties with professionalism and attention to detail. You will interact with personnel and visitors, providing excellent customer service and clear communication. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $24.60 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTime

1. Tue 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
2. Fri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
3. Sat 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the aerospace and defense location, including both the business interior and perimeter areas.
• Monitor for and report any suspicious activity or security-related incidents within the facility.
• Assist with access control and verify identification of individuals entering restricted areas.
• Support emergency response activities and coordinate with local authorities when required.
• Document observations, incidents, and activities in detailed reports as directed by site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license for more than 1 year is required.
• Level III Armed Security Officer Certification is required for positions in Texas.
• An active Department of Defense Top Secret Clearance is required.
• Texas Security Armed Professional Guard Card is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
