Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Cleared Security Officer in Longmont, CO. You will welcome visitors, manage access control, monitor entry activity, and provide excellent customer service at a front desk location in an aerospace/defense environment.

This full-time role offers a pay rate of $27.36 per hour, a fixed schedule (Thu–Sun, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM), and opportunities for training, growth, and benefits as part of a team that values

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret Clearance required.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors on site at a front desk within an aerospace/defense environment.
• Monitor and manage visitor entry, verify credentials and issue passes.
• Answer calls, give directions and information, and communicate professionally with site contacts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies following procedures and notify proper personnel.
• Observe front desk activity and deter unauthorized access with a professional presence.

Pay Rate: $27.36 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Fri: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Sat: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Sun: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and other guests by carrying out site-specific procedures and access-control protocols at a front desk location within an aerospace and defense environment.
• Monitor and manage visitor entry, verify credentials and authorizations, issue visitor passes, and maintain accurate visitor and access-related records.
• Answer incoming calls, provide directions and general information, and communicate professionally with personnel, visitors, and appropriate site contacts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures and promptly notifying appropriate personnel.
• Observe front desk and lobby activity, report unusual conditions or suspicious behavior, and help to deter unauthorized access through a professional presence.

Minimum Requirements:

• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
