Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking security personnel for an aerospace/defense site in Plano, TX. The role is full-time with a pay rate of $19.53 per hour and a night-shift schedule.

You will provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors; conduct patrols; monitor access; respond to incidents; and document daily activities and handoffs. Active DoD Secret Clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret Clearance required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen to be conducted as permitted by law.
• Age requirements: 18+ for unarmed, 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors while following site-specific procedures and policies at an aerospace and defense location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations; document observations.
• Monitor access activity and assist visitor/contractor entry procedures per site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally; notify required personnel.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoffs.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies at an aerospace and defense location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations, documenting observations and unusual conditions.
• Monitor access activity and support visitor and contractor entry procedures in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as required.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff communications.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• CPR/First Aid is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
