Job summary

Allied Universal in McKinney, TX is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Unarmed Patrol) with a required DoD Secret Clearance. You will provide security, perform patrols, and ensure a safe environment while maintaining professional communication with clients and staff.

The role offers flexible schedules, a part-time shift pattern, and opportunities for growth within a leading security and facilities services company. A valid drivers license and background checks are required.

Qualifications

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access activity and help maintain awareness of authorized personnel, visitors, and vehicles in accordance with site requirements.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and patrol activities, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Job Schedule:

• Wed: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Thur: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
