Job summary

Caesars Entertainment in Elgin, IL seeks a Security Officer to ensure the safety of guests, Team Members and assets across casino properties. You will make independent decisions, protect the premises, and assist with monetary transactions per policy.

The role requires alertness to suspicious activity and the ability to drive company vehicles as needed. Qualifications include being 21+, a valid driver's license, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to obtain an Illinois Gaming License.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Illinois Gaming License must be obtainable and maintained.
• Physically mobile; lift up to 40 pounds and push/pull up to 150 pounds.
• English reading/writing/speaking required.
• Confidentiality and professional appearance expected.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety of guests, Team Members, and assets.
• Make independent, policy-based decisions.
• Provide security for guests, pavilion, and casino property.
• Handle monetary transactions with compliance as required.
• Follow Underage Gaming, Responsible Gaming, and Liquor Control regs.
• Assist injured guests and employees.
• Be alert to suspicious activity and disturbances.
• Drive company vehicle as needed.
• Maintain attendance and adhere to policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
