Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer to protect clients across industries in Columbia, SC. You will support safety protocols, respond to incidents, and patrol assigned sites to deter threats and ensure a secure environment.

Minimum requirements include being 18+ (21+ for armed roles), a HS diploma or 5 years of verifiable experience, and the ability to pass background checks and drug screening. A valid driver’s license may be required for driving positions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Able to pass a background investigation and drug screen.
• Licensing requirements may apply per state/local laws; driver’s license for driving roles if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by following safety and security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies in a calm, solution-focused manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the client site and perimeter.
