Allied Universal is seeking a Detention Facility Security Officer - Site Response in Columbia, SC to safeguard clients across multiple industries. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you will monitor assigned areas, deter incidents, support access control, and deliver professional customer service while communicating effectively with visitors and staff.

This full-time role requires minimum security experience, age requirements, and the ability to pass background and drug screening.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security procedures and emergency response when needed.
• Respond to incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
