Job Description

As a Security Officer - Building Concierge in Scottsdale, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a commercial real estate location, you will create a welcoming, professional first impression while monitoring access, assisting visitors, and communicating security-related concerns. You will use technology to support daily operations, maintain a visible presence that helps deter incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors at the front desk of a commercial real estate location while following site-specific procedures and security-related protocols.
• Greet visitors, verify identification and access authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor and contractor logs.
• Monitor access points, lobby activity, cameras, alarms, and other security-related systems, reporting unusual conditions or concerns according to established procedures.
• Respond to incidents, service requests, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with building management and emergency responders when appropriate.
• Answer phones, provide directions and building information, receive deliveries, and support access control procedures for tenants and authorized personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
