Monday - Friday 9 AM - 430 PM

Starting Pay is $19.52 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training

As a Security Officerin Dorchester, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, customers, and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond professionally to concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, entry points, parking areas, ATM areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, observe and report unusual activity, and document incidents according to site procedures.
• Maintain a professional presence while assisting with visitor direction, access inquiries, and other security-related needs.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
