Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer Armed Concealed Carry in Providence, RI to safeguard clients at financial institutions and other sites. You will perform routine armed patrols, deter incidents, and provide courteous, professional security services within a team.

A valid Concealed Carry Weapons Permit, minimum age 21, high school diploma, and successful background check are required; drivers license for driving roles may be needed.

Qualifications

• Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the business, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site‑specific procedures, helping to deter unauthorized access and suspicious activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Maintain accurate activity, incident, and patrol documentation and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or emergency responders as needed.
