Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Armed Response Driver in Boston, MA to serve clients, conduct armed patrols, deter incidents, and provide professional customer service at a financial institution. This full-time posting requires a valid driver’s license and a concealed carry permit where applicable.

You will follow post orders, respond to alarms and incidents, monitor access, document activity, and collaborate with site leadership and emergency responders.

Qualifications

Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Wed 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Thur 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and report suspicious activity, policy violations, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid concealed carry weapons permit is required.
• At least one year of law enforcement experience, two years of security-related supervisor or manager experience, or three years of security-related experience is required.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
