As a Screener supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will help maintain a controlled environment by screening personnel, visitors, and materials in accordance with site procedures. You will remain alert to potential security-related concerns, communicate professionally, and provide exceptional customer service while helping to deter incidents. Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Tue: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Wed: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Thur: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Fri: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense manufacturing location while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, packages, and vehicles in accordance with site access-control procedures and authorized entry requirements.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor logs, and report unauthorized access attempts or irregular conditions to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including facility entrances, production-adjacent spaces, parking areas, and the perimeter; document observations and report maintenance or security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
