Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Badge Verification in Temperanceville, VA to safeguard clients across industries, primarily at a food and beverage location. You will monitor access points, verify credentials, and respond to incidents, while delivering exceptional customer service in a dynamic, collaborative environment. Position Type: Full Time.

Pay Rate: $17.77 / Hour. Typical shifts on a Monday through Friday 4:00 PM–12:00 AM schedule, with opportunities for growth and benefits

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by executing access control procedures and site policies.
• Monitor entry/exit points; verify credentials and maintain visitor and vehicle access records.
• Screen incoming/outgoing vehicles, deliveries, and materials per site procedures; report irregularities.
• Respond to incidents calmly and follow escalation and reporting protocols.
• Conduct patrols of access points, perimeters, parking areas, and exterior grounds to deter unauthorized activity.

As a Security Officer Badge Verification in Temperanceville, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage badge access, and respond to alarm panel activity. You will maintain a visible presence, conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. Job Schedule:

• Mon 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Tue 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Wed 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Thur 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Fri 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Monitor and control entry and exit points for employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel; verify credentials and maintain visitor and vehicle access records.
• Screen incoming and outgoing vehicles, deliveries, and materials in accordance with site procedures, reporting irregularities to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, production-area perimeters, parking areas, and exterior grounds to help deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
