Job Description

As a Security Officer Badge Verification in Kahului, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will help manage access control, monitor entry activity, and support security-related operations through visible presence and routine patrols. In this role, you will provide customer service and communication while contributing to a caring culture built on teamwork, integrity, and an agile, reliable, and innovative approach.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials and/or delivery documentation, and help to deter unauthorized entry to buildings, yards, gates, and loading areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or local responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, perimeter, parking areas, and shipping and receiving zones, with working environments and conditions that may vary by location.
• Document visitor, vehicle, and incident activity in required logs and reports, and report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations to site leadership.

Minimum Requirements

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
