Role is full-time with a daytime schedule at Kahului locations; strong customer service and alert, problem-solving communication are essential to deter incidents and ensure site safety.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience.
• Access control or badge verification experience preferred.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required.
• Driver's license required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures and policies.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and required documentation, maintain visitor/contractor/vehicle records.
• Control entry/exit of personnel, vehicles, deliveries at gates or receiving areas.
• Respond calmly to incidents and escalate to appropriate personnel when needed.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, loading docks, parking areas and facility perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.

As a Security Officer Badge Verification in Kahului, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and support a secure environment for employees, visitors, and operations. You will remain visible, provide exceptional customer service and communication, and help deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, security-related policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and shipping or delivery documentation as required, and maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and vehicle entry records.
• Control entry and exit of personnel, vehicles, and deliveries at designated gates or receiving areas in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters to appropriate personnel when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading docks, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
