Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of building common areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and facility systems as assigned; maintain accurate logs, reports, and incident documentation.
• Communicate professionally with property management, law enforcement, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related matters.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Badge Issuance in Richardson, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Security Officer supporting a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, manage access control activities, and assist visitors and tenants with professional customer service. You will communicate clearly, respond to security-related concerns, and contribute to a welcoming environment through teamwork, integrity, reliability, and care.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
