As a Security Officer Badge Issuance in El Paso, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a dynamic logistics and distribution location, you will help manage site entry, verify credentials, issue badges, and support a welcoming experience for employees, visitors, and drivers. You will maintain a visible presence, report security-related concerns, and communicate clearly with team members. Pay Rate: $12.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 12:00 PM - 06:00 PM
• Tue: 12:00 PM - 06:00 PM
• Wed: 12:00 PM - 06:00 PM
• Thur: 12:00 PM - 06:00 PM
• Fri: 12:00 PM - 06:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorization, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and control access to restricted areas in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, parking areas, loading zones, and the facility perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and access-control exceptions accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
