Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen as required by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply locally.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology location by following site procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas to deter incidents.
• Monitor access points, verify authorization, and report issues per site procedures.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including entrances, offices, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required by site procedures, and report unusual conditions or access issues to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting protocols.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
