• Background check will be conducted as part of employment.

As a Security Officer Badge Administration Desk in North Bergen, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Front Desk Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location. You will welcome visitors, manage access control and badge procedures, monitor entry activity, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $21.84 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service at the front desk by greeting visitors, answering inquiries, and directing guests, contractors, and employees in accordance with site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Monitor visitor access, verify authorization, issue and collect credentials as assigned, and maintain accurate visitor and access records for a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response activities and escalation procedures.
• Support a professional lobby environment by observing entry activity, reporting unusual conditions, and communicating relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
