As a Security Officer Full Time Visitor Desk in Weehawken, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional in a commercial real estate location, you will create a welcoming presence while supporting access control, visitor management, and security-related communications. You will assist tenants and guests, monitor entry activity, respond to concerns, and help to deter incidents through a professional, visible presence. Pay Rate: $19.45 / Hour

What You’ll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service to tenants, visitors, and employees at a commercial real estate front desk by following site-specific policies and security-related procedures.
• Welcome visitors, verify identification and access authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor and contractor records.
• Monitor access points, alarms, cameras, and other security-related systems from the front desk, reporting irregularities to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, emergency situations, and customer concerns in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner in accordance with established procedures.
• Communicate professionally with building management, tenants, vendors, and emergency responders while helping to maintain a professional lobby environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
