Allied Universal in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Badge Admin to guard client facilities across Tech/Media/Telecom environments. You will monitor areas, perform patrols, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents while delivering courteous customer service.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of security-related experience required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of business areas, building perimeters, parking areas, and other assigned locations; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with credential verification, and report unusual activity or policy concerns to Allied Universal leadership and client representatives.
• Complete accurate security-related reports, maintain activity logs, and communicate observations and incidents to Allied Universal leadership and client representatives.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
