As a Security Officer - Badge Access Control in Union, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries.

As a valued team member with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in access control at your assigned location, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a welcoming presence for all who enter. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols to maintain a secure environment. You will interact with visitors and staff, offering exceptional customer service and clear communication while utilizing technology such as computers or tablets. Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 25 years of age
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
