As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Patrol in Lincoln Park, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout the site. Your responsibilities will include monitoring assigned areas, assisting with access control, and providing outstanding customer service to employees and visitors. What You’ll Do

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
  
  

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the manufacturing and industrial location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or potential hazards within the location.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management.
• Complete required reports and logs related to patrols, incidents, and daily activities.
• Follow all site-specific instructions and protocols as directed by Allied Universal and client representatives.

Minimum Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• A valid guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
