Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Secure Entry Control in Lathrop, CA. You will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access, and provide courteous service to employees and visitors at an automotive manufacturing site.

This full-time night-shift role offers a pay rate of $22.52 per hour, with a schedule of Mon-Sun 10:30 PM–07:00 AM. Candidates should have at least one year of security experience and a high school diploma.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors at an automotive manufacturing location by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorization, manage visitor access, and maintain accurate access-related logs and records.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to appropriate site contacts and emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, business facilities, and perimeter areas to help identify unauthorized activity or access concerns.
• Follow Allied Universal and site-specific reporting procedures, documenting incidents, unusual conditions, and policy violations.

• Sun 10:30 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
