Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Armed Vehicle Patrol Driver) in Newark, NJ to protect a financial institution and other clients. You will perform regular armed patrols, verify access, and respond to incidents with professionalism while delivering strong customer service.

The role requires an armed guard card or license, a valid driver’s license, and background/drug screening compliance. Schedule aligns with shift-based opportunities and company programs.

Qualifications

• Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
• MUST BE RETIRED LAW ENFORCEMENT WITH RPO.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or clients at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as required, and report unusual conditions, access concerns, and/or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following site procedures and applicable requirements for an armed post.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required activity logs related to patrols, incidents, visitor activity, and security-related observations.

Pay Rate: $30.30 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
• Sun: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM

What You'll Do:
