Qualifications

As a Driving Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $16.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 04:00 PM - 09:00 PM
• Tue 04:00 PM - 09:00 PM
• Wed 04:00 PM - 09:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to government location personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of government buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity, hazards, or access concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site procedures, while maintaining a professional presence for employees, visitors, and contractors.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
