As a Security Officer Armed Security Patrol Driver in Blanch, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a government corrections location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed 05:45 AM - 06:00 PM
• Thur 05:45 AM - 06:00 PM
• Fri 05:45 AM - 06:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and authorized personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government corrections location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as directed by site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials, control entry and exit as directed, and document visitor, vehicle, and incident activity in accordance with site requirements.
• Maintain required armed post equipment and complete accurate reports, logs, and shift handoffs in alignment with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
