Job Description

Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver Compliance in Raleigh, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a government corrections location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a secure environment for staff and visitors. This driving position calls for professional communication, sound judgment, and exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and individuals at a government corrections location by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned interior and exterior areas, perimeter points, access routes, and parking areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed, and document visitor, vehicle, and personnel activity in accordance with post orders.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Prepare accurate reports, maintain required logs, and communicate observations and incidents to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
