Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Roving Patrol Driver in Polkton, NC. You will provide security for government facilities, perform regular patrols, manage access checks, and respond to incidents with a focus on professional service and clear communication.

Ideal candidates hold a valid driver’s license, an armed guard card or license if applicable, and a high school diploma or equivalent. The role is full-time with daytime shifts and a competitive pay rate of $21.50 per hour.

• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access and movement within assigned areas, verify credentials as required, and report suspicious activity, policy violations, or facility concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation while communicating clearly with site personnel, law enforcement, and emergency responders as needed.

As a Security Officer Armed Roving Patrol Driver in Polkton, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a government corrections location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and provide professional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
