As a Security Officer Driver for Armed Patrol Inspections in Polkton, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a government corrections location. Conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and provide professional customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver's license in accordance with AU Driver Policy requirements. Bring integrity, reliability, and a team-focused approach to a role where people come first.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government corrections location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, perimeter areas, access points, and/or parking areas to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor and control access to designated areas; verify credentials, maintain visitor logs, and report access concerns in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate with appropriate personnel and document observations and actions taken.
• Complete detailed reports, maintain required records, and support the professional handling of security-related operations in accordance with applicable policies and procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
