• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, following escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior/exterior areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials, and report suspicious conditions.
• Carry authorized equipment in accordance with laws, licensing requirements, site procedures, and policies.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed Mobile Patrol Driver in Mahwah, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Armed Security Officer supporting a financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving post requires an armed guard card or license and a valid driver’s license. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, entry points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report suspicious conditions or policy violations.
• Carry authorized equipment in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, site procedures, and Allied Universal policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid concealed carry weapons permit.
• Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
