An Armed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. This driving role requires a valid driver's license and offers the opportunity to deliver exceptional customer service while supporting a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity.

Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur: 05:45 AM - 06:00 PM
• Sun: 05:45 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, staff, visitors, and/or members of the public while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a government correctional location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, perimeter areas, access points, and parking areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials and/or authorization as required, and report unauthorized entry attempts or suspicious activity according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and coordinating with appropriate personnel and emergency responders.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required logs regarding patrols, incidents, observations, and other security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
