What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, while following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the assigned location and its perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and maintain a secure environment.
• Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activities, hazards, or emergencies to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain a visible presence to help deter potential incidents and foster a sense of security at the location.
• Interact professionally with staff, visitors, and/or contractors, addressing inquiries and providing assistance as needed.
• Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and promptly.
• Follow all company and client policies regarding the handling and carrying of firearms while on duty.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Armed Guard Card or License is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
