Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Armed Mobile Driver in Boston, MA to protect clients across industries, perform armed patrols, and provide exceptional service. The role requires a valid firearms permit, a clean driving record, and the ability to work a night schedule on Fri/Sat/Sun.

You will partner with a dedicated team, follow bank/financial institution protocols, complete thorough reports, and maintain a strong professional presence in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Valid concealed carry weapons permit.
• 1 year of law enforcement experience or 2+ years of security supervision or 3+ years security experience.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license required; license used for driving positions only.
• Must be 21+ years old and able to pass background checks and drug screening.
• Industry-specific security training participation may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors following site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly according to protocols.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry, documenting observations and reporting suspicious activity.
• Maintain reports, logs, and incident documentation and communicate with site personnel.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed Mobile Driver in Boston, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Armed Security Officer at a financial institution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri: 09:00 PM - 09:00 AM
• Sat: 09:00 PM - 09:00 AM
• Sun: 09:00 PM - 09:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established financial institution protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entry points, ATM areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site procedures, documenting observations and reporting suspicious activity.
• Maintain required reports, logs, and incident documentation while communicating professionally with site personnel and emergency responders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid concealed carry weapons permit.
• Have at least 1 year of law enforcement experience, at least 2 years of security-related supervisor/manager experience, or at least 3 years of security-related experience.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
