Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Armed Response in Hartsville, SC to protect clients across logistics and distribution sites. Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed Response in Hartsville, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Armed Security Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. You will provide exceptional customer service, clear communication, and security-related support while representing Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, teamwork, innovation, caring, and integrity.

What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location, including business areas, loading docks, access points, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain required logs and documentation.
• Report suspicious activity, hazards, damaged property, and policy violations to appropriate personnel in accordance with site procedures.

Minimum Requirements

• An armed guard card or license is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
