Job Description

Security Officer Armed - Site Access in Hartsville, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Armed Security Officer supporting a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. This driving post includes operating a vehicle in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while contributing to a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

Job Schedule

• Monday: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Tuesday: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Friday: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Saturday: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Sunday: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location, including warehouse areas, loading docks, access points, and the perimeter.
• Monitor access to the location, verify authorized personnel and visitors, and report unusual activity to appropriate site contacts.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
