Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Armed Reception Desk in San Antonio, TX. You will welcome visitors, manage access, monitor entry activity, and support a secure environment at a financial institution.

Qualifications

• Must possess Level III Armed Guard Card in Texas.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Armed guard card or license preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Driver's license required only for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors and employees at the financial institution per site procedures.
• Monitor access to the facility, greet visitors, verify credentials, and maintain visitor records.
• Observe lobby activity, report unusual or prohibited activity, deter unauthorized access.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and emergencies following procedures.
• Maintain accurate daily activity logs and communicate with site leadership.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors at a financial institution by following site‑specific procedures and security‑related policies.
• Monitor access to the facility, greet and direct visitors, verify credentials as required, and maintain visitor records in accordance with site procedures.
• Observe lobby and entrance activity, report unusual conditions or prohibited activity, and help to deter unauthorized access.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Maintain accurate daily activity logs and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a Level III Armed Guard Card in Texas.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
