Security Officer Armed Full Time Visitor Reception in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Armed Front Desk Security Officer at a financial institution, you will serve as a welcoming, professional presence while supporting access control, visitor procedures, and security-related communications. You will help to deter incidents through attentive observation, accurate documentation, and responsive customer service. • Tue 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Wed 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Thur 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Fri 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access policies, and emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Staff the front desk, greet and direct visitors, verify identification and appointments, and maintain visitor logs in accordance with site procedures.
• Monitor access to the facility, issue and collect visitor credentials as authorized, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and notification procedures.
• Assist with phone coverage, receive deliveries, and communicate professionally with bank personnel, customers, and emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
