Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures to maintain an orderly environment.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and follow escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, including business areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and security-related activities.

As a Armed Security Officer - Security Operations Centerin San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Armed Security Officer at a financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, customers, and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.


• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, helping to maintain an orderly professional environment.


• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations and follow established escalation procedures.


• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, including business areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter, as assigned.


• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and security-related activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid Level 3 Armed Guard Card or license.


• Customer service experience is preferred.


• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.


• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.


• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
