Allied Universal is hiring an Armed Security Officer for perimeter patrol in Daytona Beach, FL. You will patrol government facilities, monitor access, and respond to incidents with professional customer service in a team-focused environment.

Full-time role with a daytime schedule; requires 3+ years of security or a college degree, armed guard card preferred, and background/drug screening as part of employment.

Qualificações

• Minimum 3 years combined law enforcement, military, and/or security experience or a college degree.
• Armed guard card or license required; license preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems preferred.
• Comfort with using computer or tablet.

Responsabilidades

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and the public by following site procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies in a calm, professional manner; document observations and actions per site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of government facilities, parking areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas to identify and report unusual conditions or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials, and maintain orderly entry and exit procedures.
• Communicate incidents, hazards, and security concerns to site representatives and Allied Universal leadership.

Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 08:00 AM - 05:00 PM
• Tue 08:00 AM - 05:00 PM
• Wed 08:00 AM - 05:00 PM
• Thur 08:00 AM - 05:00 PM
• Fri 08:00 AM - 05:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and members of the public by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, calls for service, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and actions according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned government facilities, parking areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas to identify and report unusual conditions or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and help maintain orderly entry and exit procedures.
• Communicate promptly with site representatives, law enforcement personnel, and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, hazards, and security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
