Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Armed Vehicle Patrol in Naples, FL to safeguard government facilities and serve the public. This part-time role offers a stable schedule and $23.00 per hour, with shifts Mon–Fri, 2:00 PM–6:00 PM, across a government site.

Expect to monitor access, perform patrols, and deliver customer service under standard procedures. Required are 3+ years of security/military experience or a college degree, an armed guard card, and the ability to pass a background

• 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or security experience or a college degree.
• Armed guard card/license required.
• X-ray screening experience preferred.
• Background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees and the public while following security procedures.

• Conduct armed patrols of government buildings, grounds and perimeters.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at government facilities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of government buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required, and maintain awareness of restricted or controlled areas.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, patrol activities, and security-related concerns in accordance with site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or a college degree.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Possess a DD214 with an honorable discharge, an associate degree, 60 college credits, a police academy certificate, or a corrections academy certificate.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
