Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services provider, is seeking a Security Officer Armed Badge Control Patrol in Jacksonville, FL. This Part-Time role offers $19.00 per hour and a schedule covering daytime and weekend shifts.

You will perform armed patrols, monitor access points, document incidents, and respond professionally to alarms. We value integrity, teamwork, and customer service, with growth through training and our Shift platform.

Qualifications

• Armed guard card or license preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 21 years old and possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, members, visitors, and vendors while following site policies and emergency procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of the facility, parking areas, ATM areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials for authorized personnel and visitors.

As a Security Officer Armed Badge Control Patrol in Jacksonville, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will interact professionally with employees, members, and visitors while responding to incidents and documenting activity. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, members, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed by site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, parking areas, ATM areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials for authorized personnel, visitors, and vendors in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Complete accurate reports and maintain required documentation for incidents, patrol activities, and unusual occurrences.

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
