Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $23.76 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue: 06:30 PM - 10:30 PM
• Wed: 06:30 PM - 10:30 PM
• Fri: 06:30 PM - 10:30 PM
• Sat: 06:30 PM - 10:30 PM
• Sun: 05:30 PM - 09:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a distribution or retail operations location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, parking areas, loading docks, perimeter, and other assigned locations to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor or contractor authorization, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Maintain proficiency with assigned equipment and perform duties in accordance with applicable laws, company policies, and site-specific post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
