Job summary

Allied Universal in Donna, TX is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Armed Patrol Driver Operations) to protect customers and property at a retail location. You will perform armed patrols, respond to incidents, and maintain a visible security presence while delivering excellent customer service.

The role features flexible hours with Fri and Sat shifts and opportunities for training and career growth within Allied Universal’s supportive culture.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• Possess a valid Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to shoppers, employees, vendors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate emergency personnel and/or site leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the retail location, including sales floors, entrances, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe customer and employee activity for unusual conditions, potential policy violations, or hazards, reporting observations according to site procedures.
• Complete accurate reports and maintain required documentation for incidents, patrols, and other security-related activities.
