Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Response Driver in Springdale, AR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, families, and staff. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, families, visitors, and staff while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the healthcare facility, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols.
• Maintain a professional armed presence and handle assigned equipment in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, training, and Allied Universal policies.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and emergency responders as appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or at least 5 years of armed security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Be able to lift more than 20 pounds preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
