What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors, and utility operations staff by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access requirements, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of utility facilities, operational areas, buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or unauthorized access concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as required, and maintain visitor and contractor entry records in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and emergency responders when appropriate.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required activity logs for patrols, incidents, and other security-related observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least two years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
• Possess an Armed Guard Card/License.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
