Allied Universal in Linwood, NC is seeking a Security Officer Armed Patrol Response. You will patrol facilities, deter incidents, and respond to security concerns while providing professional customer service in a welcoming environment.

Position Type: Full Time. Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour. Schedule includes DayTime shifts and evenings across Mon–Sun. Qualified candidates have at least one year of armed security experience and a valid guard card, with background checks and a drug screen required.

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Response in Linwood, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients at a food and beverage distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel in accordance with site requirements.
• Document patrols, incidents, and unusual activity accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
