Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services provider, is hiring a Security Officer Armed Patrol Response in Manson, NC. You will perform routine armed patrols, deter incidents, and deliver excellent customer service while upholding a professional presence.

This full-time role features Fri–Sun night shifts with a pay rate of $21.50 per hour, plus opportunities for training and growth.

Qualifications

• Armed Guard Card or license preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by federal/state/local laws.
• Drug screen per legal allowances.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Monitor access and movement within assigned areas, report unusual conditions, and document incidents per site procedures.
• Carry authorized equipment, including firearms, and perform duties in accordance with laws, training, and Allied Universal policies.

What You'll Do

• Monitor access and movement within assigned areas, report unusual conditions, and document incidents in accordance with site procedures.
• Carry authorized equipment, including firearms, and perform duties in accordance with applicable laws, training, and Allied Universal policies.

Minimum Requirements

• An Armed Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
