Allied Universal, a leading security services company, seeks a Security Guard Armed Patrol Driver in New Orleans, LA to serve residents and clients across multiple sites. You’ll patrol, deter incidents, and respond to security concerns, delivering professional service with integrity.

The role is full-time with a daytime to late evening schedule on weekdays through weekends. Candidates must meet licensing and background requirements and be at least 21 with a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Six months of security-related experience or more.
• Armed Guard Card/licence required where applicable.
• Valid driver’s license as per policy.
• Must be at least 21 years old for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check in accordance with laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors and staff while following post orders and procedures.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of buildings, common areas, and perimeters.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry; report suspicious activity.
• Prepare accurate incident reports and communicate with leadership.

Job Description

As a Security Guard Armed Patrol Driver in New Orleans, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Armed Security Officer, you will monitor and patrol residential communities, driving assigned routes to help deter incidents and support a secure environment. You will respond to security-related concerns, maintain a professional presence, and provide outstanding customer service and communication to residents and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out armed security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry when applicable, and report suspicious activity or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate incident reports, maintain required documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
