Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Patrol First Aid Response Security Officer in Atlanta, GA to protect clients in financial institutions and other facilities. You will patrol, deter incidents, control access, and provide excellent customer service.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and vendors at a financial institution per site policies and emergency procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of banking areas, offices, and surrounding perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry, reporting suspicious behavior.
• Prepare clear and accurate incident reports and patrol documentation.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of banking areas, offices, parking areas, entry points, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and report suspicious behavior or policy violations.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of incidents, observations, patrols, and other security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid are preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
